Talk:Orwell Bridge

My daily use of this bridge does not draw the same conclusion regarding road safety, and think that some actual statistics would be useful to illustrate, particularly in relation to the rest of the UK trunk road network.

Plans for Tolls

Not sure how to work it into the article, and I've only the one source so far ( http://www.ipswichadvertiser.co.uk/content/ipswich/default/story.aspx?brand=ADVOnline&category=IpswichNews&tBrand=ADVOnline&tCategory=IpswichNews&itemid=IPED15%20Feb%202007%2014%3A56%3A13%3A547 ) but I've heard there are plans to introduce tolls over the bridge. -- Ratarsed 13:24, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Total closures

The section of total closures is surely excessive detail! Wikipedia is an encyclopedia based on notablilty and it's hardly notable for bridge to be occasionally closed for a variety of very normal reasons. I think only the incident on 1 December 2023 might be a bit notable, but a whole table isn't necessary. I'll leave this for a while, but I'm proposing that the table is deleted. deaths during construction
