In book of Diogenes Laertius: Lives of Eminent Philosophers he write about Plato. There he tells: "Mithridates the Persian set up a statue of Plato in the Academy and inscribed upon these words: 'Mithridates, the son of Orontobates dedicated to the muses a likeness of Plato made by Silanion' " This Mthridates could probably be the son of that Orontobates who is mention at the war of Gaugamela year 331 Bc.
