Film on YouTube

[edit]

The film of the 1964 New York performance is now also available on YouTube. The currently provided link in "External links" of this article to the UbuWeb page provides lots of information (apparently copied from a now defunct web page), but the YouTube clip is more user-friendly, e.g. it allows almost-instant positioning, several display size options, access from smart phones, tablets, television sets. I suggest to add the YouTube clip to the "External links" section, say, in this form:

BTW, there also a full-length Gruppen on YouTube, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Simon Rattle, John Carewe, Daniel Harding

Thanks, Michael. I have added the YouTube link, as you suggested. The Gruppen film, on the other hand, is a (more or less) commercial release (Arthaus Musik, from the Channel 4 series Leaving Home), and will certainly be pulled from YouTube as soon as the copyright holder discovers it.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 04:50, 7 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
