As far as I'm aware of, she's not Japanese. She is based in Japan, but describing her as a "Japanese singer of Russian descent" is wrong and also categorizing her under "Japanese musicians" would also be wrong. Polarrrbear (talk) 19:52, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I was also going to say this. Living/Working in another country does not magically make a person change his/her country of birth. I will rephrase it. Edit: I also removed the category 'soviet singers', since the USSR wasn't in existence anymore during her career and she worked mostly/exclusively (?) in Japan anyway. 79.201.164.123 (talk) 06:38, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Death

[edit]

I've removed the cause of death from heart attack since the source no longer exists while I was also able to find an additional post about her having fought with lung cancer for 2 years already. If a reference to Twitter is good enough I hope this is also good enough to at least make it likely as a cause of death since I am unable to find any additional reliable sources.212.78.165.181 (talk) 09:42, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lung cancer very often leads to heart failure as the heart is over stressed and under oxygenated. so it is quite possible to have lung cancer, but actually DIE from heart failure. they are related. ~2025-41117-72 (talk) 07:34, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

The official english website seems to no longer exist. As of January 27, 2021 visting origamusic.com leads to hugedomains.com offer to buy origamusic.com.

I will replace the link with the latest available cached version from the waybackmachine (the latest viable version seems to be from January 3, 2018; Later snapshots seem broken or related to hugedomains.com)  Preceding unsigned comment added by Flippant doddie (talkcontribs) 10:54, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
