Equations don't seem consistent
[edit]The chemical equations and the differential equations don't seem to jive. For example, there is no differential equation for the rate of change of [A], [B], or [P]. Also, the quadratic terms in the ODE's don't seem to correspond to the pairs of reactants in the chemical equations, the way one might expect from collision theory.

- The equation for d[X]/dt is incorrect.
- It should be:
- \frac{d [X]}{dt}= k_I [A] [Y] - k_{II} [X] [Y] + 2k_{III} [A] [X] - k_{IV} [X]^2
- As written, it undercounts the contribution from A+X->2X+2Z and overcounts the 2X->A+P flow out. ~2026-33020-83 (talk) 17:13, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
