[edit]Nice article... but we need secondary sources to support what is said in the article. This is important for two reasons... one is WP:Verifiability (a reader needs to be able to verify that what is said in the article is accurate). The second is WP:Notability. We need to establish that the Knight Masons are a Notable organization (as notability is defined by Wikipedia). To do that, we need to show that someone (other than the Knight Masons themselves) has taken note of, and talked about the organization... ie we need a secondary source or two. - UPDATE - It is now A year and a half later... and the article still does not cite a single secondary source. I am beginning to think that the problem may be that none exist. Blueboar (talk) 03:38, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback. I’m currently working on a significantly updated version of the article. I understand the importance of adding reliable secondary sources for both verifiability and notability. Unfortunately, there aren’t many independent sources available, but I’ll do my best to include whatever I can find. Suggestions are always welcome — I appreciate your input. Removed section on Israel (pending sources)
[edit]The following section was removed from the article due to a lack of reliable, verifiable sources and unclear jurisdictional relevance to the Order of Knight Masons:
Israel: The Knight of the Sword, Knight of the East, and Knight of the East & West are conferred as the "Degrees of Captivity" by the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of the State of Israel upon masons who have already received the Royal Arch degree. The degrees are conferred in English and in Hebrew. The English language ritual follows the Scottish model, while the Hebrew ritual is largely a translation of the Scottish. [citation needed]
No third-party or official source has been located to verify the claims made in this section. Until such sourcing is found, the section has been removed in accordance with Wikipedia’s verifiability and no original research guidelines.

Assessment Request: Potential B-Class Article
[edit]I've self-assessed this article as C-Class based on the Wikipedia assessment scale. However, I believe it may meet the criteria for B-Class, for the following reasons:
- The article is well-organized and covers all key aspects of the topic.
- It contains a substantial amount of referenced content.
- A {{Third-party}} disclaimer has been included to address reliance on affiliated material where applicable.
- The tone is neutral, and the writing is encyclopedic throughout.
That said, I'd prefer to leave the final judgment to a more experienced editor. I’d really appreciate a second opinion on whether a B-Class rating is warranted.
