confusing

[edit]

It is still unclear in this article in distinction between verbal and oral contract :

verbal contract is expressed in spoken words oral contract is an implied contract expressed in spoken words written contract is expressed in written words

Is this correct ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Siyac (talkcontribs) 08:40, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

An oral contract is not an implied contract (an implied contract is an implied contract - 'implied' has its normal meaning in this context) oral contract and written contract are both verbal contracts 92.237.13.56 (talk) 16:55, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Bad example. Even the cited reference dances around the stakes.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:CDA0:1060:F9B9:A62F:8B1E:D112 (talk) 13:47, 20 March 2022 (UTC) Agreed - this article needs to be re-written.  Preceding unsigned comment added by BNClawyer32 (talkcontribs) 21:37, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
