Computational effort difference between dual stream and single stream mode sensible?
[edit]The citation from 2015 says that real-time playback of dual stream isn't possible while the developer's website claims 2022 that Playback is possible at, lets say, around 100 times faster than real time (depending on compression parameter). It doesn't declare if it's for dual stream or single stream. Is the difference sensible (with seven years of hardware progress in mind)? And, at least in German Wikipedia community, citations from forum boards or discussion groups aren't considered as reliable citation source. (I know that for many topics regarding noncommercial audio compression AudioHQ or HydrogenAudio is/was the only source.) -- Pemu (talk) 08:14, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
