misclassification of Jülich as "fortress" and subsequent destruction completely omitted

Jülich was destroyed because it was misclassified as "fortress" (which it was--in the 16th century)on French and American maps, this article pretendes it was attacked and completely destroyed for being an important crossroad instead. Important Error

Throughout the article the river name is spelled "Ruhr", but that is the river in the Ruhrgebiet, EAST of the Rhine.

The river in this article should be spelled "Rur", I will exchange every instance of it right away.

Rur to Roer

I’ve changed the name of the river here to "Roer", as .a) that is the name that was used at the time; b) that is the name used in sources for these actions; and c) it's still the common name in English and the title for our article on the river. It also avoids the confusion mentioned above. I trust everyone is OK with that... Xyl 54 (talk) 21:57, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
