Ma Vinh Lan

[edit]

Ma Vinh Lan is listed as a Commander/Leader of the 29th Regiment, but I cannot find any good source that lists him as such outside Wikipedia. In Deng Xiaoping's Long War: The Military Conflict between China and Vietnam By Xiaoming Zhang, they list him as part of the 345th Division in 1979 (a decade later). Is their any source on leadership of the 29th Regiment?

Probably not. Its very hard to find reliable information about the PAVN during the war. Mztourist (talk) 04:26, 10 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'd add the qualifier about finding reliable RS secondary-source information. The archive at Texas Tech has some interesting intelligence summaries and translated documents (RAND does as well), but of course they're considered primary sources. Intothatdarkness 23:21, 11 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
