[edit]Operating cash flow is the same as cash flow from operations. The equation given is more of a "cash earnings" than anything else. The issues are already addressed at cash flow and return of capital and free cash flow. I propose redirecting this to cash flow.Retail Investor 00:23, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

The 2nd paragraph (and sentence) of the article is impossible to decipher. Where does the definition end? It makes no sense. "...and less dividends paid gives rise to..." etc!? But then again, the above statement means the whole page should perhaps be ignored.
IFRS Vs GAAP

Proposed replacement: “What Is Depreciation? A No-Nonsense Guide”, a 1,600-word explainer covering depreciation methods, how depreciation is treated across all three financial statements, including the operating cash flow add-back specifically, and the depreciation-versus-amortization distinction, in more depth than the source.
