Move draft to main space?

[edit]

Hello @Alexander Doria:. Many thanks for creating this draft article! It looks very good. Do you plan to publish it in the main space of English Wikipedia any time soon? -- Oa01 (talk) 13:56, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Oa01:! Yes of course. I am waiting for some feedback on specialists on the field and then I'll proceed to do it (normally it should be good by next week!) Alexander Doria (talk) 15:44, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Excellent. Out of curiosity: why did you write a long draft article? Why not start with a shorter draft article, and then open it up in the main space for additional contributors? I ask not as a criticism-- your work looks amazing. -- Oa01 (talk) 16:11, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's a good question. I usually don't do it this way but this specific topic was complicated (I think it's one of the hardest wiki article I've worked on). I prefered to wait to be sure that the structure of the article was mature enough. Alexander Doria (talk) 16:47, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ah. Very sensible. Thanks. -- Oa01 (talk) 19:42, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Hi, You need a further reading section. There is many refs that are not cited that could go in there. They are reporting harv errors.

Parallel evolution

[edit]

There's a parallel version of Open Science Infrastructure at Petite encyclopédie de la science ouverte, and similarly for nine other open-science-related articles. I haven't checked the evolution topology, but it's likely to be complicated due to the licence compatibility, with frequent re-mergers. It would probably be good to have a template to alert editors and robots for checking for attribution - and to avoid false positive reports about WP:COPYVIOs. open science infrastructure

[edit]

Any Objections To Moving This Article to open science infrastructure? I don't see any WP:RS'd justification at all in the article for a Proper Noun Title. Boud (talk) 12:25, 7 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
