what is difference between OAI and open access? As i know the one thing is that OAI is a tool for Open Access

Past tense?

The tone of the article implies the organization is long-dead — are there sources to support this?

The discussion list is still active as of May 2025, the latest thread contains informations about updating links to register to the OAI. According to the official website, "[t]he Open Archives Initiative is no longer working on new projects" – that may be the reason of the past tense. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 20:03, 7 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
