Tidying Up and Improving

[edit]

Please do add any suggestions on how to improve the article content here (Jon1995 (talk) 10:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC))Reply

Correct Terminology for Online Memorials

[edit]

There are a number of other different interchangeable terms all in common use such as memorial websites, virtual memorials, even cyber graveyards. There are some other terms also used which relate to both online and physical sites such as memorial sites and tribute sites. I have added redirects from these terms to online memorials where appropriate but please add any new terms or suggestions here (Jon1995 (talk) 10:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC))Reply

[edit]

This article is a generic article about online memorials so i don't think that links to external hosting sites belong on this article as it would just lead to a big list being added. If you think they're relevant please add them here with an explanation. One example is the early pioneer site Virtual Memorial Garden (Jon1995 (talk) 10:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC))Reply

Expanded lists of digital memorial sites

[edit]

I was looking for specifically a summarized table of online memorials for pets, but no luck yet. I was wondering if wikipedia would be an ideal host for such a list based page. I don't really understand the notoriety criteria, but there are many written articles/books that mention and sometimes suggests and why about memorial sites for pets.

I just think it would be a nice resource, because the lists just don't seem to be of any quality that I have found on brave.com Knaak, Eric (talk) 02:14, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not here to be a ressource for these kind of things, see WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Veverve (talk) 10:44, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
