Hi, I'm new to Wikipedia talk pages (I've read some policies) but this article is MAJORLY unsourced - it has one source and that's from a SlideShare (primary source?) which has been removed for going against guidelines (...). Doing a quick web search leads to one article which uses Wikimedia as a source (citogenesis?), many blogs (primary sources) and some sources claiming to be the creator of the onion model which seem contradictory. Is there any reliable data about the Onion model out there? if so, I think more of it should be cited. If not, I think this article should be nominated for deletion  Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.90.163.126 (talk) 20:10, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

[edit]

Hi fellow editors! I propose merging Onion diagram into Onion model. Having two separate articles seems pretty WP:REDUNDANT. Any strong feelings? Thanks! :-) Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 15:49, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Looks good to me. I agree that Onion model is the broader subject and should be the target article for the merge. Biogeographist (talk) 21:32, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
