Even though Ashe's The Families and the History of the Onehunga Blockhouse is a self-published source, it has been used by reliable third party sources, including:

  • The Heritage New Zealand Registration; and
  • Mogford's The Onehunga Heritage; and
  • Auckland Council's Onehunga Heritage Survey Report December 2013; and
  • Auckland Council's Jellicoe Park infoboards.

That doesn't matter. Secondary sources often use unreliable/primary sources, but we don't on Wikipedia. See WP:SPS. You shouldn't revert an entire edit because you disagree with one part of it either. Traumnovelle (talk) 21:35, 11 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
