Mistake re shipping route?

" Onehunga was also the main route south; steamers would leave Onehunga, exit the Manukau Harbour for Whangarei & Wellington, and then to Nelson and the cities of the South Island." - surely 'Whangarei" (northward on the east coast) should be New Plymouth (southward on the West Coast en route to Wellington? dramatic (talk) 09:16, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

I think the editor mistook Whangarei and Wanganui, with the latter indeed being on the route to Wellington. Have mixed the two up myself in the first years of being here. Ingolfson (talk) 10:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Jellicoe Park blockhouse

The page says this was moved from Princes St, but sources including https://nzhistory.govt.nz/media/photo/onehunga-war-memorial and https://www.sites.google.com/site/onehungaheritagetrail/home/onehunga-blockhouse and https://nzplaces.nz/place/jellicoe-park-and-its-blockhouse and the signage at the house say it was built at its current site on the high point of Jellicoe Park, which seems plausible if it was for defence. The Laishey house nearby *was* moved from Princes St. Tslumley (talk) 02:34, 17 October 2020 (UTC)

Southdown Branch, Metroport and Container Terminal

The first 1.29km of the Avondale–Southdown Line opened in 1973 as Southdown Freight Terminal and other freight terminals have since been added to it. Should it have an article of its own (what should its title be?), or go in with one or more of the Avondale–Southdown Line, Southdown, New Zealand, Westfield railway station (where it branches off NIMT), Onehunga (the address of Southdown Container Terminal & Metroport Facility is 339 Neilson Street, Onehunga) articles, or some other?
