I tried to update the second reference link as when clicked, it didn't open the appropriate page, but couldn't see how to do this. If anyone else can sort this, please do!Snorgle (talk) 09:58, 6 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

On Spec news:
1) apparently the magazine has ended: https://onspec.ca/2025/12/22/on-spec-the-final-voyage/ (posted December 22, 2025) says "The absolutely final issue of On Spec Magazine is now ready for you to read. Copies will be sent to our subscribers and Patreon donors today, and new readers can buy theirs on our Ko-fi page." The issue via Kofi is "$2.99 or more", so presumbly is a digital issue. Was a print version (of the last issue) published???
2) apparently the plan is a new publisher will take over, starting with an book (On Spec 2026) with the possibility of a yearly book series: https://onspec.ca/2025/10/20/time-for-rebirth/ (posted October 20, 2025) says "Shadowpaw Press of Regina, Saskatchewan, is thrilled to announce that it has agreed to carry on the legacy of On Spec, ... . The current plan is to Kickstart an On Spec 2026 anthology in the spring of next year, ... . If the Kickstarter succeeds, the goal would be an annual anthology thereafter." - EarthFurst (talk) 18:34, 8 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
