One of Britain's most famous automotive designers? I think not. I very much doubt anyone would know OW. One forgotten design for Lotus and some work for TVR does not constitute a body of famous work. Lyons, Sayer, Healey, Chapman, Towns, Issigonis, Callum, etc those are famous designers.
