Teller of stories?
[edit]I believe that Old Salt is not "often a raconteur, or teller of sea stories". An Old Salt is a retired naval rating (not officer). They are known for telling Salty Tales.Royalcourtier (talk) 20:56, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

List not updated
[edit]The article states Admiral James Kilby is the most recent Old Salt but he's not on the list. He's also the newest Old Goat, as of 5/11/26 Shana3980 (talk) 05:41, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
