Spanish-Catholic?
[edit]In the very last paragraph we can read Execution in the Old Town Square celebrated for the Spanish-Catholic party the triumph of victory. May you please tell me what the heck had the Spanish to do with a war in Prague? Just for the record, Spanish is not the same thing than Catholic. WikiChuru (talk) 19:22, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
Bohemia was multiethnic, and so were the executed
[edit]The Germans who were killed should also be recognisable as Germans and not listed under the Czechified versions of their names. On one hand, this replicates the simplified view of history from the 19th century, which turned a religious conflict into one between nationalities. On the other hand, it replicates the Czechification of Bohemian history, especially after 1945, which negated the multi-ethnic character of the country and redefined it as a struggle between Germans and Czechs. ~2026-91462-2 (talk) 16:23, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
