"This article may lack focus or may be about more than one topic." This article is about the (crude) oil constant as the estimate of available petroleum reserves to production ratio (T = R/P), which has remained around 40 years for decades. It gives a set of reasons for this phenomenon, therefore I don't see why there is a lack of focus. The mentioning of the oil constant to describe material properties of vegetable and mineral oils serves the purpose of delimitation. Gunnar (talk) 13:38, 9 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
