Range: O. saratan

[edit]

The range as stated in the table seems limited to the Red Sea. According to WoRMS database [1] it is found throughout the Indo-Pacific region from Eritrea, Somalia and Madagascar to the Western Pacific. I have added this to the article. Ptilinopus (talk) 04:45, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edits regarding etymology

[edit]

The etymology of the scientific name of this taxon is already in the body of the article, which is the proper location for this information (not in the lead). Also, linguistic glosses should conform to the MOS by using single quotes per MOS:SINGLE. MossOnALogTalk 23:16, 8 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

@~2025-39371-06 Please avoid edit warring and discuss your desired edits here before trying to reinstate them. I've explained multiple times why this information should not be added where you have been adding it, as well as the fact that it needs to conform to the manual of style.
