Contradictions

[edit]

Recent changes to this page have introduced contradictions. In one place it says they are native to South America, elsewhere only Africa. In one page there are 300 species, elsewhere 200. This is chaos, not responsible editing. It is really as bad as vandalism and needs to stop. The entire Lauraceae family is a disaster area. Nadiatalent (talk) 13:30, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you to User:83.44.49.151 for working to correct this problem. Nadiatalent (talk) 16:26, 14 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Circular sourcing problem

[edit]

The reference that is currently number 8, this URL, is not an appropriate source because it is material that was derived from wikipedia (and wikispecies), it says near the bottom "Source: Wikipedia, Wikispecies: All text is available under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License". Statements on the wikipedia page therefore should not be supported by citing that source. Ocotea (talk) 16:46, 22 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you to User:IDreamForIceCream for removing the citations. Ocotea (talk) 12:50, 23 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
