Attempting to classify

[edit]

Looks like either a definition page more than an encyclopedia entry or perhaps a disambiguation page to lead to more articles... or is this supposed to turn into an article on military occupations? --Krupo 23:19, 5 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

Removal of "Tenant, lessee, renter"

[edit]

Per the Wikipedia Manual of Style, each bulleted item on a disambiguation page should contain only one blue link (not three). I have removed this line, rather than turning it into three entries, because I don't believe these links belong on this page. The word "occupation" does not appear in any of these three articles. They relate to the concept of "Occupancy", which is already listed, and they would be appropriate as links under "See also" in that article. SlackerMom 16:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Addition of "Occupation (occupational therapy)"

[edit]

Occupational therapists have a different use of the word "occupation" as it refers to self-care, productive work (ie. job, volunteer work, parenting, etc.), and leisure. That is, it is meant to encompass all activity that gives meaning to life. Jipy 18:28, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
