Potential issues
[edit]As found by LLM, but worth checking:
- Reign 29 (The Paynethrillers, July 19, 2000) has the wrong duration. The next champions, Steve Armstrong and Tracy Smothers, won the title on July 21, so this reign lasted 2 days, not 16 days. The `days` calculation incorrectly runs through August 4.
- Consequently, The Paynethrillers' combined reign total of 110 days is wrong. Using the dates in the table, their three reigns total 96 days.
- Reign 34 (Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin) gives the title win as February 13, 2001, but its duration calculation begins on February 14.
- Reign 48 (The A.P.A.) calculates the reign through May 30, 2003, although the following entry says the titles were vacated on May 8, 2003. The 50-day combined total is therefore wrong.
- Reign 100 (The Elite) gives the title win as March 27, 2010, but its duration calculation begins on March 24.
- Reign 125 contains malformed template code: `|thumb|` appears inside `0`.
- Reign 173 (Bankroll) gives the title win as May 5, 2022, but the cited Cagematch event is dated May 19, 2022, so the citation does not support the stated date.
- Reign 193 (Donovan Cecil and Jack Vaughn) is internally contradictory: the listed date is August 11, 2025, while the duration begins August 17 and the cited OVW Fight Night 2025 event took place on August 17.
- Reign 194 (The Trifecta) has the reign ending September 4, 2025, while the titles are not shown as vacated until September 11, leaving an unexplained seven-day gap.
- The September 2025 chronology omits that LVL 3 apparently defeated The Trifecta on September 4 before the match was later ruled unsanctioned and the titles were vacated on September 11.
- Reign 195 (Anthony Toatele and Dustin Jackson) gives the wrong opponents in the note. They won the vacant titles against Los Desafios (Jota Peso and Maximo Suave), not Donovan Cecil and Jack Vaughn.
- The citation for reign 195 is also wrong: it points to Cagematch ID 433382, OVW TV #1358, instead of the September 28, 2025 No Rest for the Wicked event.
- The infobox's longest-reign entry lists both "Hy Zaya" and "Hy-Zaya", although these are the same wrestler.
- Because of that duplication, the longest-reign entry incorrectly appears to list six Legacy of Brutality members instead of five.
- Numerous early reigns and vacancies, especially from 1997–2000, are uncited despite containing precise dates, match results, and title-vacancy circumstances.
