Power versus energy
[edit]Could someone please check the following statement in the article, in particular the unit used:
"The power output of the OGK-2 power plants in 2007 was around 48 TW."
It seems there may be a confusion between power (watts) and energy (watt-hours). Considering the 5 power listed plants output 8,700 MW (or 8.7 GW), it is inconceivable that they could somehow output 48 TW (4,800 GW or 4,800,000 MW). Perhaps the sentence should correctly read:
"The power output of the OGK-2 power plants in 2007 was around 48 TWh."
Having worked in the electrical power industry for several years, this is a common mistake. Power is an instantaneous value; energy is power integrated over time.
