Halogen ions are NOT good nucleophiles, they are actually some of the worst nucleophiles due to the fact that they are the ones being substituted in nucleophilic substitution reactions either in alkyl halides or in acyl halides. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.138.20.165 (talk) 20:53, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
