Misleading and non-neutral image in lead

I removed the image on the right which shows GHG emissions & human deaths in the past with the following explanation:
- It's a violation of WP:NPOV
- It's misleading – if not false – in several ways including especially that greenhouse gas emissions alone are insufficient to label something as "cleanest" as the caption and image content do
User Avatar317 now restored the image in the lead saying Restored sourced graph and caption; if you don't like the labeling of "safe" and "clean" than take that issue up with the Reliable Source which says that: Our World in Data
- Just because there is a source claiming something doesn't mean it belongs into the article, in the lead even, and needs to stay there. As I've said, adding an image of the nuclear power proponents to the lead is a violation of WP:NPOV and it's even more severe if it's misleading.
- There seems to be some misconception that if any reliable source says something it would need to stay where people who agree with it add it even lots of other reliable sources are saying the opposite. The image shows a) number of deaths from accidents and air pollution in the past b) greenhouse has emissions. Even with a caption and title in the image that is not incorrect, it does not belong into the lead which is about summarizing the article and not to make a case for one of the sides in the debate the article is about. See i.a. WP:DUE.
This is in short terms why I'd like to remove the image again. Prototyperspective (talk) 00:59, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- To do that you will need to get consensus against myself, the editor who recently changed the caption, and the WP:IMPLICITCONSENSUS of it having been in the article since 2021-08, with no other editors than you objecting to its presence. ---Avatar317(talk) 01:40, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
