Merge proposal

[edit]

Please use this space to discuss the proposed merge of Notogramma cimiciformis into this article. Pinging @Plantdrew: who initiated the proposal. Joyous! Noise! 01:35, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Notogramma cimiciforme and Notogramma cimiciformis are the same species with different spellings; both have authorship attributed to Loew, 1868. I'm not sure which spelling is correct. The taxonbars on both articles have some links to database that are unique to each other, and some where the databases have records for both spellings. The EOL record for Notogramma cimiciforme has apparently been deleted, which suggests EOL considers Notogramma cimiciformis to be the correct spelling. Honestly, this sounds pretty uncontroversial. I think if you wanted to go ahead and merge the articles, no one would object. Joyous! Noise! 03:15, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
