- Tentative oppose While the proposed topic is the obvious primary dictionary meaning, we are, of course, not a dictionary, and without any evidence to the contrary I'm not sure if there is a clear primary intended topic here for someone who chooses to search the term.--Yaksar (let's chat) 23:19, 30 March 2018 (UTC)

- I'll just leave this here. He doesn't actually identify as an alt-right, but well, I'll let you be the judge. He claimed there was an alt-left so clearly he supports a great deal of alt-right talking points and beliefs.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 20:15, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC/WP:NOTDICT. Notch proteins (Notch 1, &c.) of Notch signaling pathway fame are all called "notch" and are at least as encyclopedically important as a the "engineering" topic. — AjaxSmack 02:25, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
