Article

[edit]

I began to write this article about the book Not Without Hope. After working on the article for quite some time, I began to wonder if this article should be about the book or about the boating accident itself. After the fact (of beginning the article), I think I am more inclined toward the latter. Any thoughts? Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 16:11, 26 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have decided to re-write this article, so that it is an article about the boat accident itself (and not an article about the book). Any suggestions for a good article title? I am stumped. What I came up with, so far, is: "2009 Clearwater, Florida, boat capsizing incident". That's the only thing I can think of. But, I really am not satisfied with that at all. Any suggestions? Thanks. Attention is building again for the accident, with the release of two films in 2025. Maybe we should rename the article as something like "2009 Not Without Hope capsizing"? The boat didn't have a name, so Not Without Hope is likely to be the long-term WP:COMMONNAME by which the accident is known. A somewhat similar example might be the GA that was eventually retitled 2008 Bathurst Boys in Red accident, with the renaming justified here as "standardization". Just my 2c... 173.56.111.206 (talk) 07:34, 16 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
