[edit]Hi all, I've chosen to improve this stub for some uni work so I'll be hopefully fleshing this out over the next two weeks (as of 02/02/22). I've added a small section on causes - not the most modern theory but it's just a start for now. If you have any pointers, let me know; I will continue to look at the literature and hope to add more. I will also add about symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and will try to tackle differentiating it between similar terms like hypochondriasis, medical students' disease and health anxiety.
