Excessive reliance on ChatGPT-generated text and references
[edit]From "Feeding Behavior and Diet" to "Thermoregulation and Behavior", this article seems to rely on heavily on text generated by ChatGPT. I am concerned that this information may not be accurate and there are not clear in-line citations. There are also multiple sources in the references section that, from their titles, seem to describe a different species and thus are not relevant sources for this article. I am also concerned that some of the articles cited may not be real, as LLMs like ChatGPT sometimes provide sources that do not exist when asked to provide reference lists. I have taken initiative and removed a passage that served more as a commentary on how to improve the article than as a description of the species, and I will continue to work on addressing problems I identify in this article. However, I do not know a lot about bat species in general or about this specific species. I want to flag the general issue of "excessive reliance on ChatGPT-generated text and references" to encourage other users to identify specific issues downstream of it, especially users who have a better command of the subject matter.
