Needs fixing. lots of nonsense. (Space Cadet 22 May 2005)
Somehow the "First Northern War" has been linked here? It might also be linked to Nordic Seven Years' War (which is known as the First Northern War as well (or the Seven Years War in Scandinavia)) (i.e., be a disambiguation page). I don't know how to fix this. Anyone able to help?
After reading for a few more hours I am convinced that historians have not agreed on a convention for naming wars in northern Europe and that there are multiple "First Northern War"s. POV is truly a heavy issue here - every country views (and names) these wars differently. Probably the only common theme is that the history of Sweden for almost 2 centuries is a history of virtually continuous war - if I their naming wasn't so heavily POV, I'd suggest using it to limit ambiguity. In the interim, I'll continue to look for a possible sorting that makes sense, unless someone comes to the rescue! Williamborg14:58, 30 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Oppose per WP:MISPLACED unless it can be articulated what will happen with the resulting redirect at the base name. There is no northern wars (the lowercase version) so it doesn't seem like there is anything that requires disambiguation here; only topics covered on Wikipedia are disambiguated per WP:QUALIFIER.
