I strongly agree so I have boldly removed the essay on North Petherwin Football Club and started a new page. The material was inappropriate to this article about the parish. I have also removed the anecdotal 'travelogue' essay about the countryside. Andy F (talk) 10:26, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Further to the above, I've now substantially re-written the article. This has meant deleting most of the original unsourced unreferenced text. Much of the original was anecdotal, non-encyclopedic or original research WP:NOR. The otter sanctuary section was effectively advertising WP:ADS. Hence a lot of trimming was required.
