Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (due to such information needed to learn from this article thought it is difficult to find the source to place some references for copyright) --VonTheGreat26 (talk) 09:25, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Another user will probably remove the speedy deletion tag if the article is significant enough to merit an article. Thanks MJ500 Fancy a coffee? 09:48, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I see several academic sources for this when I search "North Palawan Block". I don't know enough to say whether it's notable on its own, but it isn't a speedy candidate. —Guanaco 09:50, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I stand corrected, geographical locations do not qualify for speedy deletion. Thanks for your time. MJ500 Fancy a coffee? 09:52, 24 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Useless citations

[edit]

Citations such as Hamilton (1979) and Taylor & Hayes (1980) are essentially useless to the reader who is not a geologist. Are these references books, or academic journal articles? These references should be inline citations, with at least titles.--Dthomsen8 (talk) 00:29, 20 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
