This is a commendable piece on Hackforth, but it concentrates on the latter (even if be the more important) part of his career. Before this, he was long occupied in the British music publishing & entertainment scene, and made scores of records in the later 1920s & probably 1930s. Accordingly, I intend to acquire another copy of his autobiography (which I read long ago) and add material relevant to this earlier period. Bixanorak (talk) 22:30, 19 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
