Most sources suggest that ice retreated from the Dales between 17 and 18 thousand years before the present, which is supported by the evidence later mentioned in the article that 'the boulders have been exposed for around 17,900 years' X24k (talk) 18:29, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
