Noise rock

[edit]

Due to this album's heavy use of distorted effects and vocals, would it not also be classified as noise rock? KanyeHimselfSaidItWasAGospelAlbum (talk) 19:58, 25 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also loud mixing. KanyeHimselfSaidItWasAGospelAlbum (talk) 21:57, 25 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to call it noise rock then you need to find a reliable source which calls it noise rock. We are not here to figure it out for ourselves. Rather, we are here to summarize for the reader what has been written in reliable sources. Binksternet (talk) 03:25, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
hello 8 year old thread! i looked for a source for noise rock and apparently anthony fantano's video review of nonagon infinity lists noise rock as a genre. used that as a source to put the genre in the infobox :D Frierenfreak (talk) 15:38, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Jazz Fusion

[edit]

Assuming the description "jazz fusion" refers to the interlude in the middle of invisible face, it's not clear to me how that is even remotely related to the jazz fusion movement. They turn the distortion off, hit the ride cymbal instead of the hi-hat and overdub some synths and guitar bits over it. Aside from that it's grown from the same musical idea as the other 2 sections and I haven't heard anyone call those parts "jazz". 24.163.99.224 (talk) 17:06, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

That sounds like WP:OR. As it's unsourced, I see no problem with removing it (pending discussion here), but krautrock is just as unsourced.Doctorhawkes (talk) 08:30, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
