[edit]Work in progress. I will add some more references to Husserl, then a section quoting commentator's attempts to express what Husserl believed in simpler language. Noema = Object of thought
[edit]In Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason, A 21, footnote, he claimed that the words αισθητά και νοητά were very famous or well-known [sehr berühmt] in Greek philosophy. The Greek words mean “felt (or sensed) and thought.” The opposition is between that which is known through the sense organs (aestheta) and that which is known through pure thought (noeta).173.61.95.154 (talk) 23:36, 30 July 2019 (UTC)DaShawn McKee-Carter
