Merge proposal

Currently, Noble Guard is acting like a disambiguation page but it is not actually disambiguating anything (I removed some redlinks recently). I think we should either delete it or merge it to this article. Thoughts? — Ƶ§œš¹ _{[ãːɱ ˈfɹ̠ˤʷɪ̃ə̃nlɪ]} 17:23, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Noble Guard (Vatican) → Noble Guard – WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. In addition to "Vatican" being an anachronistic disambiguator for most of the entity's history. All wikilinks seem to support this no disambiguator solution as well. PPEMES (talk) 19:04, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

• Support. Since this is the only article with this name on English Wikipedia, it doesn't need the country disambiguation as part of its name. Also, the proposal is consistent with the Palatine Guard, a similar historical military unit of the Vatican. --Sundostund (talk) 03:00, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
