Source misinterpretation and POV pushing

This article exhibits a mild case of POV pushing.

The first point at issue is the article title, Noakhaillas status as a language or accent is highly debated, therefore Wikipedia being an encyclopedia should reflect that. The very first thing a person sees in this article is "Noakhailla Language", which is misleading.

I suggest the following section be removed:

"though it is considered a Bengali dialect, some have labelled it as undecipherable to speakers of Standard Bengali and that it has a "vague" relationship with it."

The sources present don't claim what has been said above. The third source present there is clearly a humour piece. The first source very clearly states that Noakhailla is only somewhat unintelligible with dialects that are geographically far apart, since it exists in a dialect continuum. The 2nd source does not exist or is outdated, therefore the article should reflect that.

Furthermore, this piece of the article is largely irrelevant:

"In December 2019, a mass demonstration was organised by Noakhailla activists of all strata in Maijdee in response to a private television channel airing the Noakhali Bibhag Chai (We Want Noakhali Division) comical drama. They considered the drama to be an insult to the Noakhailla language, history and culture."

This does not contribute in any way shape or form; neither to the status of Noakhailla as a language/dialect, nor does it provide any information about the development/features of the dialect/language.

The first source is written by linguist Sameer Ud Dowla Khan, who has clearly said that Noakhailla is mutually unintelligible. The other source also refers to the dialect as undecipherable, so both statements in the Wikipedia article are based on the reliable sources. UserNumber (talk) 21:20, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

The statement which was added by you don't support the first source completely. The first source clearly states that the Bengali language forms a dialect continuum and the dialect of Noakhali and Dinajpur are not mutually unintelligible because these two dialects are geographically far apart from each other but these two dialects exists in dialect continuum of the Bengali language.

The third source is totally a humour piece. In the geographical distribution part of this Wikipedia article, the information regarding the intelligibly is added and that statement is written based on the "Amago bhasha" article of Sameer Ud Dowla Khan. Snusho (talk) 07:50, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

This article promotes a misleading narrative with evident bias. The interpretation of sources appears selective, aligning with a predetermined viewpoint rather than objective analysis. The cited sources clearly identify it as a dialect of Bengali, not a separate Indo-Aryan language. Wikipedia should reflect the sources accurately and maintain neutrality.
