Did you know nomination

[edit]

  • ... that the "no pomegranates" meme originated from a college lecture on developmental psychology? Source: Roll, Nick (October 15, 2017). "A Professor's Misunderstood Lesson, a Viral Video and Pomegranates". Inside Higher Ed., Clark, Tommie (October 13, 2017). "Professor goes on anti-pomegranate rant -- for a good reason". KCCI., Candelario, Chelsea (October 13, 2017). "Professor gives an explosive rant against pomegranates, but there's a good reason". Mashable.
    • Comment: As always, please let me know if I should reword the hook or add more sources

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: All good from me! Article passes the minimum length threshold and is new enough. It's a meme - so it's obviously very interesting and enticing to the general reader. I strongly recommend you to remove the first three sources and shorten the description on Jane Martino as I believe most of those were primary source (do note this is a recommendation only so not doing it won't bar the article from DYK) Regards, Jeromi Mikhael 04:31, 7 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
