[edit]Is there a reason that this entry is written in the past tense? As far as I know, Nisus Writer is still published. In fact, they just had a public beta. If no objections are raised, I'll change the entry to reflect this. Reid 15:50, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Nisus Writer Express
[edit]When the former Okito Composer was repackaged as Nisus Writer Express, it was done so that Nisus Software could gain compatibility with newer systems, and in that regard it was a complete success. But there was a significant tradeoff, not yet mentioned in the article: none of the features that had made Nisus and Nisus Writer different from other word processors were present in Nisus Writer Express when it was released. Title doesn't match content
[edit]This article is (currently, in fact) not about Nisus Writer, but about the company that produced it. If there is to be an article about Nisus Writer, it will need to end in 2003 when Nisus Writer was discontinued, to be replaced by a completely different product. The fact that the new product was given a similar name is not significant - except in a history of the company, which is what this article is currently leaning towards becoming.
