TRT World Source
[edit]Per RFC, "TRT World" is state media, and thus is not a reliable source "for subjects with which the Turkish government could be construed to have a conflict of interest." See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources#TRT_World.
Religious figures and their activities with respect to the the I/P conflict, Hamas, etc. can certainly "be construed" to have "a conflict of interest", as the government of Turkey is heavily involved in these areas and certainly seeks to promote a particular point of view.
If a different, reliable source on the currently-TRT-sourced claim
In 2023, during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip in response to the 7 October Hamas attack, he published a video teaching Israeli troops how to shoot with an emphasis on breathing and relaxing while instructing them to "be cool minded, without misery or self-pity".
cannot be found, then this statement should be removed. I personally failed to find any sources at all that don't derive from this TRT youtube video, much less reliable sources. Beeswax1999 (talk) 23:47, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- Edit: I forgot that WP:BLP applies.

- I have removed the source and claim from the article since BLP mandates conservative treatment here. Leaving Talk thread in case anyone else finds a reliable source. Beeswax1999 (talk) 23:54, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
