due to his notoriety and the severe nature of his crime FDC will not release publicly where he is located as a protective reason, how i can assure that anytime you see him on wikipedia or other online sources listed as being at Wakulla C.I is incorrect as i work there and he's not allowed here due to his status. Remember, if the charges were statewide, then he would've been at Florida State Prison in Raiford. If it was federal, then he's somewhere out-of-state. But no matter what, it remains hidden. I hope someone out there can figure out where Cruz is currently incarcerated at in the near future, just for educational purposes. 2600:1702:5225:C010:108D:384F:95FD:8FD9 (talk) 19:23, 7 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

the "[citation needed]" after "Other points of contention from the victims were the perceived improper conduct of Cruz's lawyers during the trial" in the 2022 section can be substantiated by the article "How Sparing the Parkland Shooter's Life Changed the Florida Death Penalty" from The Marshall Project:
"(...) The defense’s objections to the judge’s rulings or other contentious developments in the trial were worthy of sanctions. An embarrassing moment before the trial began, when one of the lawyers was seen laughing with Cruz and giving the middle finger to a member of the defense team who was monitoring the Court TV cameras, was contemptible. The lead defense lawyer’s decision to wear a white outfit for her closing argument, a color associated with innocence or purity, was an intentional insult, one mother alleged. It's going to need a citation to a corroborating source. The one you listed is an advocacy group. Advocacy groups are not inherently unreliable sources, but they are inherently biased. Better sourcing is needed than just that as a reference. cheers, anastrophe, an editor he is.18:18, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
