Rename to "North Camp Pasture"

The reference to Perry's ranch doesn't fit the article cited. The only reference to 'North Camp Pasture' is this: "Chuck Wilson, the manager of the Hendrick ranch, said that particular parcel is now called “North Camp Pasture.” “It was given the name several years ago,” Wilson said in an interview last week. “Probably, I’m thinking, about five years ago.” " Obviously, this is controversial, since more accurate statements have been reverted, but perhaps people could talk about it here.----Beamish Son

Reference gave conflicting info on timing but that is irrelevant to the point that it was renamed. That is all that needs to be in this article anyway. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:44, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation page

This article still looks like a disambiguation page with a bit more of an introduction than previously. As an article it is severely missing references for the facts asserted. This page should be a disambiguation page because it is a native grass in Australia with no ties to racism at all. The disambiguation page should then have a reference to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enneapogon_nigricans

No matter what its origin the word is not offensive unless it is used offensively. And there is a lot of evidence that contradicts the Washington Post's reporting.

Change to grammar, invalid connotation

• Niggerhead hunting camp, the former name of a hunting camp of Texas governor Rick Perry, renamed to "North Camp Pasture".

This should be changed to "used by Texas Governor Rick Perry" instead of "of Texas governor Rick Perry ... Rick Perry did not own the camp, but his family paid a fee to use a portion of over 44,000 acres of land when he was a young adult... the connotation of "of Texas governor" is that he owned it .. and is just generally bad grammar

Chamberlain Rock - University of Wisconsin

A rock that was nicknamed a "niggerhead" in 1925, which has led to it's removal after being deemed a racist rock. Many news articles covering this, but they can be biased (either "yes boys we did it racism is no more!" Or "what on earth is going on here? Racist rocks!?" Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs

I removed the link to chocolate-coated marshmallow treats as the lemma of this article is "niggerhead" whis is different from "negro head" or similar, which was a common name for those sweets. From the perspective of offensive language, these are two different categories. Put it somewhere into negro if you need, but not here. --Gunnar (talk) 16:52, 2 January 2025 (UTC)

A spherical safe

In the semi-fictional crime novel Final Score, by Emmett Grogan, there are detailed descriptions of safe-cracking that include the defeat of a spherical safe described as being known in the safe-cracking fraternity a "n*****head keister" (keister here being an archaic usage referring to a kind of container, not to the posterior part of the human anatomy). Note that I was tagged as a vandal of Wikipedia for using the title of the page for which the page you are currently reading is the Talk Page!

Regarding the use of the term n*****head in patents, I was frankly surprised to not find it in use as an alternate term for "dollhead", which was a common style of catchment used for locking the action of a break-barrel firearm.

Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED, you can write "niggerhead" here for the purpose of discussing the article. But a single use of the word in a novel is not worth mentioning in the article. Sandstein 09:55, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
