LGAs

According to the NSW Department of Local Government, Niangala crosses thee LGAs. These are the Tamworth Regional, Upper Hunter Shire and Walcha Councils. After this request I've added a citation to show its existence within the Upper Hunter Shire Council and therefore the Hunter Region. The citation is correct, however, at the moment the suburb list for this lGA is temporarily off-line. In the meantime, entering "Niangala" into the serch box under "Local Council Search" on the right side of the DLG website, and clicking the "Find" button will show that Niangala does indeed cross all three LGAs. --AussieLegend (talk) 22:31, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for taking the trouble to point out the 3 LGAs here. I think that the border was with Scone (which is now the Upper Hunter) down in the scrub. I have the 1:25,000 Niangala and Scott topo maps but they do not show the boundary, hence my doubt.Cgoodwin (talk) 04:47, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
