Ng herself uses the "Ka Yi" spelling. She's a Hong Kong Canadian. As a sportsperson the nationality would be Hong Kong. 61.244.205.254 (talk) 10:02, 22 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi 61.244.205.254. Do you have any reliable sources that verify that she is Hong Kong Canadian? Do you know her Chinese name? This would be useful to find more coverage about her. When I rewrote the article, I was unable to find her Chinese name in my searches for sources. Cunard (talk) 08:52, 23 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hello Cunard. I think you may try to look up with Ng Ka Yi and the year 1987 or 1988 on HKAAA's website for her name in Cantonese. And by the way her child mentioned her in an article in the Apple Daily in February 2015; that newspaper also had a feature of the AS Watsons athletic club in April 2003 of which Coach Ng was member of. She's been in Calgary or Vancouver as far as I knew. 61.244.205.254 (talk) 15:02, 24 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi 61.244.205.254. Thank you for this useful information! I tried searching on the HKAAA website for Ng Ka Yi and Ng Ka Yee, but the searches didn't return anything. Having her Chinese name would be useful to search for the articles in Apple Daily under the archives at https://collection.news/appledaily. Cunard (talk) 11:22, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
